Thank you for being part of Friends of El Paso Animal Services Plaza Classic Film Festival MOVIES ONLY FESTIVAL PASS Raffle. All proceeds raised will benefit the Friends of El Paso Animal Services Fund.

Please familiarize yourself with the following rules to ensure the auction runs smoothly and we all have a great time.

 

General Information

Raffle entries are one (1) for $15, five (5) for $30, ten (10) for $60, thirty (30) for $90 and one hundred (100) tickets for $150. No limit on number of entries. Purchase raffle entries online at bit.ly/PlazaFilmFest_MoviesPass from July 7 through July 19, 2023 6:00 pm MST. 

100% of raffle entry net proceeds benefit Friends of El Paso Animal Services. Winner will be drawn July 19, 2023 at 6:30 pm MST and contacted via email shortly after.

Official Rules and Regulations 

This raffle and fundraiser is conducted by Friends of El Paso Animal Services, a fund of the El Paso Community Foundation, 333 N Oregon, El Paso, Texas, 79901, a non-profit and registered 501(c)(3) organization, according to the terms of the Charitable Raffle Enabling Act, is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. All net proceeds from the entries will benefit Friends of EPAS. Purchased entries are not tax deductible, nor considered a donation to Friends of EPAS.

ELIGIBILITY: The Raffle is open to all legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) or older as of the date of the entry. THE RAFFLE IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. Friends of EPAS has the right to request photo identification from any person desiring to enter the Raffle and reserves the right to require additional identification and may choose to accept or reject any entry based on the identification presented. Entrants are subject to, and by participating in the Raffle, agree to be bound by these Official Rules and Regulations.

PRIZE: The prize is one (1) MOVIES ONLY PASS to the 16th Annual Plaza Classic Film Festival July 20 - 30, 2023.  The prize does NOT include lodging, parking, or transportation to or from the venue, alcohol, nor gratuity. Friends of EPAS, its officers, members, agents, and employees as well as any related sponsors are not responsible and bear no liability in the event of the delay, rescheduling or cancellation of the Prize. The pass is transferable.

ENTRIES: Raffle entries are one (1) for $15, five (5) for $30, ten (10) for $60, thirty (30) for $90 and one hundred (100) tickets for $150. No limit on number of entries. Purchase raffle entries online at bit.ly/PlazaFilmFest_MoviesPass from July 7 through July 19, 2023 6:00 pm MST. Raffle entries purchased online incur an additional processing fee.  You will need to have a valid credit card to purchase entries. Successfully complete the online raffle registration form with your name, address, phone number, credit card payment information, and submit. No mechanically reproduced or incomplete entries will be accepted or be eligible. No mail-in or manual raffle purchases are allowed. All electronic entries must be received by July 19, 2023 by 6:00 pm MST. For each raffle entry purchased, the person whose name and information is listed on the entry form will receive the number of entries purchased. Raffle tickets or entries cannot be re-sold or given away to another person or party. Only the registered name on the winning entry that is drawn will be allowed to claim the Prize. Odds of winning are based upon the total number of raffle entries purchased during the stated raffle period. Friends of EPAS, its officers, members, agents, and employees as well as any related sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, garbled, or misdirected entries, printing errors, server unavailability, computer or any other electronic malfunction. Any entries received that are duplicate, mutilated, tampered with, incorrect, illegible, or from ineligible entrants will be void. All entries become the property of Friends of EPAS and will not be acknowledged or returned. 

 

DETERMINATION OF WINNER: Winner will be selected by a random drawing on July 19, 2023 and will be notified by email the same day. There is no cash alternative prize available. All raffle winning decisions are final.

DELIVERY AND ACCEPTANCE OF PRIZE: Prize is provided “AS IS” without any express or implied warranty of any kind. Friends of EPAS reserves the right to require additional identification and may choose to accept or deny awarding any prize based on the identification presented. Winner cannot assign Prize to another person for any reason whatsoever. Broadway tickets will be furnished to the winner at by email via El Paso Animal Services or El Paso Community Foundation. Failure to do so, for any reason whatsoever, shall result in forfeiture of the Prize and an alternate winner can be selected. Winner is responsible for any applicable taxes and fees including state and federal sales or income tax where applicable. 

 

ENTRY RULES: It is Friends of EPAS’ right to amend, revise and interpret the Official Rules as it may see fit. It is expected that by donating money for an entry, entrants will hold to the rules of entering as presented here.

ENTRY LAWS: The Raffle entries and awarding of the Prize is subject to all applicable laws, state or federal and is VOID WHERE

PROHIBITED OR OTHERWISE RESTRICTED BY LAW. Entrants to this fundraiser are responsible for compliance with all such laws and regulations based on their age, place of residence, etc. All disputes surrounding the Raffle and Prize will be subject to the laws of Texas. 

 

RELEASE: By participating in the Raffle and/or accepting the Prize, an entrant/winner agrees to defend, release and hold harmless Friends of EPAS, its officers, members, agents, and employees as well as any related sponsors from and against any actions, claims and/or liability for injury, death, loss or damage of any kind (including any for the violation or infringement of any proprietary or personal right of any individual or entity) resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entrant’s participation in the Raffle, and/or entrant’s use, acceptance, or possession of the Prize, and/or entrant’s participation in a Prize-related activity. By participating in the Raffle and/or accepting the Prize the entrant/winner consents to and gives Friends of EPAS the right to interview, photograph/video winner, and in perpetuity to freely and exclusively use, publish, and display a winner's (and where applicable an entrant’s) names, address, entry form, picture, portrait, likeness, voice, video, statements, quotes, biographical information, and Prize information (in whole or in part, as may be adapted, edited, or modified, as solely determined by Friends of EPAS) for advertising, trade, publicity and promotional purposes in any media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide, and on the World Wide Web, internet, and social media, without review, notification or approval, all without additional consideration, unless prohibited by law. Entries will not be acknowledged or returned. Friends of EPAS, its officers, members, agents, and employees as well as any related sponsors are not responsible and bear no liability in the event of the delay, rescheduling or cancellation of the concert/theater performance Prize. Friends of EPAS, its officers, members, agents, and employees as well as any related sponsors will not be responsible for or liable to any entrant, winner, entrant or winner’s family or estate for any submissions of entries that are lost, late, illegible, damaged, incomplete, or incorrect. Friends of EPAS can, at any time it chooses, without recourse, decide to terminate or modify the Raffle if the integrity of the Raffle appears to be compromised. If the Raffle is canceled, all monies paid for raffle entries will be returned to entrants less processing fees. Decisions of Friends of EPAS related to entries, winner, interpretation of Official Rules, and other matters related to this Raffle are final.
